Pitlane is decking itself out with new colours and new numbers ahead of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship opener at the Adelaide 500 from March 1-4.
Red Bull Holden Racing Team go retro
Reigning champion Jamie Whincup and 2016 title-winning teammate Shane Van Gisbergen pulled the covers off the new-look Red Bull Holden Racing Team Commodores.
Featuring the iconic Red Bull brand, the new blue-and-white livery harks back to the old factory Holden liveries of yesteryear, with similar designs used in last year’s Pirtek Enduro Cup (below).
This retro livery was run by Red Bull HRT in 2016.
Autobarn Lowndes Racing recap
Their stablemate Craig Lowndes pulled the covers off his new look Autobarn Lowndes Racing Commodore earlier this month, with the familiar black, white, green and gold of Autobarn prominent.

Preston Hire Racing freshens up
Preston Hire Racing has also shown off its new-look colours, with Lee Holdsworth’s No. 18 Commodore sporting a modified black-and-yellow look for its new ZB Commodore.

Mobil 1 Boost Mobile Racing’s new name and number
Remember how Walkinshaw Racing became Walkinshaw Andretti United at the back-end of 2017?
Well they now have an official brand name – Mobile 1 Boost Mobile Racing.
Scott Pye and James Courtney will continue in the squad that evolved out of the original Holden Racing Team.
While the new look cars for the season are yet to make an appearance, the team will sport a new number on Courtney’s car – 25 – to celebrate a quarter-century of the partnership between Mobile 1 and the team, first started with the arrival of the legendary Peter Brock to Clayton in 1994.
Brad Jones Racing joins forces with Blackwoods
BJR will continue rotating sponsorship arrangements in 2018, with Blackwood to sponsor Adelaide local Nick Percat in his home race.
