SOUTH AUSTRALIA'S Todd Hazelwood will drive a blue, orange and white Ford FGX Falcon at the Adelaide 500 in March, after Bigmate was announced as the new naming rights partner for Matt Stone Racing.
In what will mark the return of the Stone name to Supercars Racing (Matt is the son of former Stone Brothers Racing co-owner Jim), Bigmate Racing will make its debut in the season-opening event on the streets of Adelaide.
Bigmate will continue its partnership with the team after supporting Hazelwood's title-winning Dunlop Super2 campaign last year.
Hazelwood grew up in Athelstone and is the fourth South Australian on the grid this year, joining Brad Jones Racing's Tim Slade and Nick Percat, and Mobil 1 Boost Mobile Racing's Scott Pye.
“We have had such a strong and successful partnership with Bigmate and I am excited to make my full-time Supercars Championship debut under their banner,” Hazelwood said.
“This should be a fantastic season for all of our main and minor partners for 2018 and I am really looking forward to unveiling the car this week in Sydney.”
The Adelaide 500 is the opening round of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, and runs from March 1-4.
