After starting its debut Supercars season in a FGX Falcon, Matt Stone Racing returned to running the VF Commodore it won the 2017 Super2 Championship in partway through the season.
It has taken ownership of Jamie Whincup's 2018 ZB Commodore from Triple Eight and will maintain a technical partnership with the mutliple series and Bathurst champions next year.
"We've got an exciting program ahead, we've got the test day on 11 December, using the ZB Commodore, which (was) being used by Jamie Whincup," Hazelwood said.
"The recent purchase of the car is really exciting and it's really going to see our capabilities as a team step-up in 2019.
"We've got a full day planned ahead there and we cannot wait to see what we've got ourselves in for."
Matt Stone Racing will debut its ZB Commodore at the Superloop Adelaide 500 from 28 February to 3 March 2019.
