With Supercars stars James Courtney and Scott Pye amongst its ranks, Mobil 1 Boost Mobile Racing may have another couple of successes in up-and-comers Jaxon Evans and Abbie Eaton.
Evans and Eaton will drive a Walkinshaw Andretti United Holden VF Commodore in this week’s Dunlop Super 2 Series test day at Winton Raceway - a first for both drivers.
Evans recently won the 2018 Porsche Motorsport Junior Programme Shootout, as well as the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Series. The 22-year old has his long-term sights set on European Motorsport.
26-year old Eaton, hailing from Britain, has driven alongside motoring legends Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in “The Grand Tour. She’s previously won the 2014 Mazda MX5 Super Cup title, alongside other victories in the British GT and Blancpain Endurance Series.
Eaton’s involvement continues gains made for women in Australian motorsport, which ahs most recently been led by Nissan Motorsport's Swiss star Simonda de Silvestro.
Evans and Eaton will go through testing led by Warren Luff, Walkinshaw Andretti United endurance driver and driving coach.
