Tickford Racing and Richie Stanaway have announced the end to their partnership, parting ways after a challenging 2018 season.
"This decision is mutual, as team and driver believe it is best to part ways at this time", Tickford Racing said in a statement.
It follows the departure of Mark Winterbottom from the team, as announced in November, as he moves to Team 18 in 2019.
Winterbottom has left the Ford squad after 13 seasons, winning a championship in 2015 and 38 race wins.
With both Stanaway and Winterbottom now off Team Tickford, that leaves an open seat to join Chaz Mostert, Cam Waters and Will Davison (23Red) in the 2019 season.
Davison's Milwaukee racing team recently announced it would join Tickford as a customer car arrangement.
It remains to be seen whether Stanaway will be replaced prior to the start of the 2019 season, or whether Tickford will continue to race 4 Mustangs in the new year.
The 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship season kicks off with the Superloop Adelaide 500, Feb 28 - 3 March. Tickets are available now.
