In case you missed it, the news it out now that the Friday of the 2019 Superloop Adelaide 500 will ignite with two of Australia's hottest solo artists and multiple ARIA Award winners, Vance Joy and Amy Shark.
Vance Joy debuted on Australia airwaves in 2013, and since has gone on to become a global sensation. His smash hit Riptide established him around the world with millions of fans.
His latest album Nation of Two picked up the ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album last month as well.
Amy Shark made her way onto the music scene only two years ago, releasing her hit single Adore, which was voted in at number 2 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2016.
Last month Amy also impressed at the ARIA awards, picking up ARIAs for Best Pop Release and Best Female Artist.
Amy spoke to Nova919 yesterday after her performance at the 2019 Superloop Adelaide 500 was announced.
"It's massive. Honestly I don't think I come to Adelaide enough, and I really love it. It kind of reminds me of Christchurch in New Zealand, and I really love it so I'm looking forward to performing," she said.
"I feel like I've squeezed a lot in in 2 years time. Nova have been so good to me and really on board with my music, which is incredible."
Vance Joy and Amy Shark will entertain fans at the Superloop Adelaide 500 for the first night of the concert-lineup, after a huge day of action at the event.
"It sounds like it's going to be a very lit night. Anytime when everyone's had a day of excitement and they come to watch music is always a really good time", she said.
The Friday night concert presented by Nova Entertainment is included in any valid Friday entry ticket to the Superloop Adelaide 500. Tickets are on sale now.
