30 Jan 2019
In case you missed it, the 2019 after-race concert line-up has officially been announced, and it’s one of our best ever!
The Superloop Adelaide 500 concert stage will ignite this year with Vance Joy, Amy Shark, Jet, The Living End and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, along with support acts from Music SA.
With the enviable line-up comes an exciting move for the concert zone. The concert precinct, previously located at the Christian Brothers College Oval, will now be situated in front of the Victoria Park Heritage Grandstand, creating a central hub with access to a myriad of family-friendly activities and a premium food and beverage offering.
Here’s a few reasons why you’ll love it!
It’s Right in the Middle of the Action
The concert precinct is moving right into the middle of the action and closer to the track. That means less distance for you to walk after the on-track action has wrapped up, so you can get to the concert sooner and get your spot! Best of all, those fans that like to secure their spot early in the day for the concerts won’t miss out on the racing, with big screens to catch all the on-track action.
There’s Space for Everyone
Our team has been through a thorough planning process to ensure that the new concert precinct capacity is the same as the previous concert locations. The new concert precinct will have a similar layout to the previous location, with a large standing area in front of the stage, but also plenty of room further back to sit and relax! The perimeter of the concert precinct will include shaded areas to sit and soak up the music, as well as food and beverage outlets so you’re not far away from refreshments!
We’ll Be Joined By a Victoria Park Icon
The iconic Victoria Park Heritage Grandstand forms part of our new concert precinct, which will be accessible for the concerts each night. Fans can head into the Heritage Grandstand to enjoy a shaded seating area near the concert stage. It’s first come, first served, and there is a restricted number of seating in this area. The area is not separately ticketed and may reach capacity.
There’s More Room to Relax
There will be more areas to explore around the concert precinct that we can't wait to announce soon. It'll be great for those who are looking to relax after a day of racing action, but still want to hear the concerts.
The concert precinct move is one of many exciting precinct refreshes for the 2019 Superloop Adelaide 500, including our brand new Tracks of the World.
Each night of our after-race concert line-up is included with each day’s entry ticket. Check out our range of ticketing options here.
