Andre Heimgartner will continue at Kelly Racing in 2019 with the young gun set to start his fourth full-time Supercars season at the Superloop Adelaide 500 on February 28.
It leaves just one seat at the team remaining, with Garry Jacobson in the box seat to take over from Michael Caruso in 2019.
The operation - which will continue running Altimas in 2019 despite losing Nissan funding - recently confirmed the renewal of Castrol sponsorship for team owner and lead driver Rick Kelly, with Simona De Silvestro to continue with Harvey Norman backing.
Heimgartner's sponsorship and livery will be released prior to the Superloop Adelaide 500, with blank paintwork to be run on his Altima in pre-season testing.
It's welcome news for the Kiwi, who claimed four top 10 finishes in 2018 as the team honed its car speed throughout the year.
"We had some strong results at the end of last year and with the continual development of the Altima over the summer, I’m confident that we will be able to hit the ground running."
The Superloop Adelaide 500 is the first event of the Supercars Championship and takes place from 28 February - 3 March 2019 at the Adelaide Street Circuit. Tickets are available here.
