The first racing Mustang has been unveiled ahead of the 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, with Cam Water's #6 Ford pulling cover on Sunday.
It comes as Monster Energy recommits to Tickford Racing as the naming-rights sponsor of the #6 Ford Mustang.
Waters' Monster Energy Racing Mustang retains the familiar black paintwork used by the team on the #6 Falcon in past seasons.
Tim Ryder, Marketing Director for Monster Energy (Oceania) said the ability to continue its association with Australian motorsport is logical.
Monster Energy will not only be seen on the #6 Mustang at the Superloop Adelaide 500, but on the overpass signage on Wakefield Road, and across the circuit.
“Monster Energy’s link with motorsport around the world is an important part of our brand DNA, and we are proud to continue our partnership with Tickford Racing,” Ryder said.
“Tickford remains one of the top teams in Supercars, and we look forward to celebrating their continued success in 2019.”
The Superloop Adelaide 500 is the first event of the Supercars Championship and takes place from 28 February - 3 March 2019 at the Adelaide Street Circuit. Tickets are available here.
